A Christmas recipe for yuletime cheer with the Reading Room – 18 December

We are getting Christmas celebrations underway on Tuesday 18th December at 7.00 p.m. at Cafe Arriba, Portree and we have a wonderful evening’s entertainment lined up. Our Christmas recipe requires readings of Christmas stories and poems – old and new, including an unpublished short story written by Bernard MacLaverty. The main ingredient is our special guest Lady Claire Macdonald who will be talking about and reading from her new book, Lifting the Lid: The Story of Kinloch Lodge, Skye.  Add to this a Christmas buffet and music from students of the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music, Plockton.

We think we have all the ingredients required to have an enjoyable and satisfying evening of Christmas celebrations.

This is a ticket-only event:
Reading Room members can purchase 2 tickets for £12 each. Further tickets will cost £15.
Non-members tickets are £15 each.

We have a limited number of tickets for sale, so do get in touch quickly to buy your tickets. Email Debbie Roberts skyereadingroom@yahoo.co.uk
