Seomar Leughaidh welcomes Aonghas dubh on 26 March



Yes, it’s true – he’s coming home for a few days to join us at the Reading Room and not only is he reading at the evening event, he’s also leading a poetry writing workshop from 3.30-5.30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from a master of the art.

Aonghas MacNeacail hails from Uig and is known as one of Scotland’s best loved poets. He writes in Gaelic, English & Scots and is a songwriter, broadcaster, journalist, scriptwriter, librettist and translator. He has won umpteen awards, been published in many languages  and travels all over the world giving poetry readings. We know we are in for a wonderful evening of poetry and storytelling, combined with the warmth, humour and exuberance Aonghas brings to all his readings – come and join us at the Skeabost Hotel and welcome Aonghas dubh back to Skye.
